Crafted out of the English rural countryside and ripened by the sun
The handpicked grapes from our harvests are carefully transported to professional contract wineries where the teams make our delicious sparkling rosé wines and still rosé wines.
The grape varieties we grow are Bacchus, Schonburger, Rondo and Pinot Noir Early.
Our sparkling wines are made using the ‘traditional method’ of secondary fermentation in the bottle, and after ageing on the yeast lees before disgorgement, the wines develop a special character.
Our wines are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
The Wines
History
The vineyard was laid out and planted in 2007 and started producing wines commercially in 2013.
The process of making still wines and sparkling wines by the traditional method necessarily takes a long time.
Other vintages from our later harvests will be available in due course.

“The wine and sustainability
are our passions”
— Mark Hargreaves
Our 2021 vintage English Sparkling Rose Wine is a blend of Bacchus, Schonberger, Rondo and Pinot Noir.
Our sparkling wines use the ‘traditional method’ of secondary fermentation in the bottle, and after aging on the yeast lees before disgorgement, the wines develop a special character. The wine has a persistent mousse of fine bubbles and complex fruit flavours.
This sparkling wine is excellent as an aperitif and goes well with lobster and other meatier kinds of fish; it is first class for celebrations of all kinds and makes any occasion special.
